1988년 데뷔 이래, 수많은 히트곡과 대중음악사에 남을 명반들을 발표하고 지금까지도 다양한 무대와 페스티벌에서 세대를 뛰어넘어 사랑받고 있는 아티스트 이상은이 11, 12, 13집을 아날로그 바이닐로 선보인다. 2022년 발매한 5, 6집에 이어 두번째로 선보이는 바이닐 프로젝트다.
2005년 발매한 그의 열두번째 정규앨범 'ROMANTOPIA'는 전작 '신비체험' 앨범을 통해 제1회 한국대중음악상 여자가수상을 수상하고 2년여 만에 발표한 작품이다. 앨범제목 ' ROMANTOPIA'는 Roman과 Utopia의 합성어로, 낭만적 사랑과 예술적인 교감이 충만한 꿈의 세계, 혹은 서정적이며 몽환적인 판타지가 넘쳐나는 유토피아를 상징하는 아티스트 이상은과 우리의 이상향이라 할 수 있다. 이 앨범 또한 전작에 이어 제 3회 한국대중음악상 여자부분 올해의 가수상을 수상하였으며, 타이틀곡인 ‘돌고래 자리’는 아름다운 사랑과 삶의 세계를 희망찬 가사와 싱그러운 멜로디로 담아내어 2005년 ‘KBS 바른 언어상’을 수상하기도 하였다.
본작에서는 일렉트로니카를 위시하여, 보사노바, 라틴, 한국 민요 등 다양한 장르를 통해 실험적인 음악에 대한 고집과 개성을 이어가는 한편, 보다 편안해진 멜로디와 가사를 함께 이끌어감으로써 대중과 평단 모두에게 공감을 불러 일으킨다. 이병훈 음악감독이 메인 프로듀서로서 참여하여 ‘이상은 로만토피아’의 모습을 가장 정확하게 구현하였으며, 우리 전통 국악기 장구, 가야금, 해금뿐 아니라 색다른 동해안 장구까지 그리고 동양적 선율의 시타르, 현악 오케스트라의 스트링 사운드, 그리고 컴퓨터 사운드에 이르기까지, 가장 전통적인 것에서부터 가장 현대적인 소리까지 두루 이용한 사운드로 구성되었다. 또한 일본의 세션으로는 ‘공무도하가’ 앨범부터 지속적인 음악작업을 도왔던 이상은의 음악적 동반자 ‘다케다 하지무’가 초기 음악감독으로 참여하여, 아코디언, 어쿠스틱 기타, 피아노의 세션을 직접 담당해주었고, 일본 일렉트로니카의 아티스트 ‘몬도그로소’의 믹싱을 담당했던 ‘오키츠 토오루’가 참여하여 완성도를 배가시켰다.
일렉트로니카 사운드의 조화, 일본에서 발표하여 크게 반향을 일으킨 ‘어기여 디여라’, ‘공무도하가’와 같은 오리엔탈 풍의 민요, 그리고 국악기와 일렉트로니카 사운드를 혼합한 시도 등 그동안의 이상은이 보여주었던 음악세계를 집대성한 앨범이라 할 수 있다. 특히 이 앨범에 수록된 ‘둥글게’는 발표한지 20년에 접어들었지만 방탄소년단의 멤버 RM이 자신의 SNS에서도 추천한 적이 있을 정도로 여전히 수많은 리스너들의 사랑을 받고 있다.

1. Order cancellation
- Cancellation cannot be made after 12:00p.m. on the next day of the order date, though the shipment hasn’t begun.
- If the product hasn’t shipped yet, the cancellation can be made before 12:00p.m. on the next day of order date through email.
- When ordering through deposit, order cancellation before payment is done if payment isn’t made within 3 days.
- If cancellation is received/approved after shipping due to private reasons, then you must pay for round-trip delivery rate to your location.
2. Exchange/Refund
- Exchange/refund request can be registered through email within 7 days after delivery.
- The round-trip shipping rate is charged to the customer for exchange/refund due to customer’s private reasons.
- If refund is approved after request, then we will guide you in regard to the refund charge and round-trip delivery fees.
- If the product is different from our description/advertisement on the page, or you are eligible for exchange/refund due to product malfunction or wrong delivery, then the shipping rate for refund/exchange will be paid by our company.

4. Delivery Information
