과 학자들은 지구가 40억 년 전에 바다가 증발되는 엄청난 재앙을 겪은 것으로 여긴다. 그리고, 2억 5천만 년 전에 일어난, 지구 맨틀의 분출로 생물의 90퍼센트가 사라졌다. 40억 년 전에 바다에서 생겨난 생물은 지구 곳곳으로 퍼져나갔고, 바다가 증발한 후에도 깊은 땅속에서 살아남은 생명은, 다시 물이 차 오른 바다에서 생존할 수 있었다. 격심한 환경변화를 겪어온 지구의 생물은 몸집을 크게 불리는 방향으로 진화했고, 그로 인해 마침내 우리 인류도 탄생할 수 있었다. 20만 년 전, 아프리카의 호모 사피엔스로부터 시작된 인류는 아시아를 거쳐 베링 해협을 건넜고, 만 년 전에는 남미 끝까지 도달하기에 이르렀다. 이렇듯, 지구의 생물은 새로운 환경에 대한 도전으로 오늘날처럼 다양하게 진화했고, 이런 진화는 앞으로도 계속될 것이다.
제 2편: 얼어붙은 지구
- 생물 진화의 수수께끼를 쫓는다!
지 구 역사상, 우리가 지금까지 알고 있는 빙하기보다 더 심하게 얼어붙은 시기가 있었다고 한다. 대략 22억 년 전, 그리고 8억 년 전과 6억 년 전의 두 시기, 지구는 수백만 년에서 수천만 동안 동결돼 있었다. 그런데, 이런 전지구적인 동결현상을 겪은 후엔 생물의 몸집이 크게 진화됐다. 지구 동결현상을 겪는 동안, 메탄균이 방출한 메탄 가스와 화산이 분출한 이산화탄소가 지구를 데웠고, 광합성을 하는 생물의 출현으로 인류의 선조는 그처럼 힘겨운 위기를 넘길 수가 있었다. 이렇듯, 생물에게 시련을 안겨준 지구의 전면적인 동결현상은, 한편으론, 미생물에 불과했던 인류를 더욱 크게 진화시키는 발판을 마련해줬다. 이처럼, 생물의 진화에 있어서, 지구 동결현상은 그야말로, 촉매제 같은 존재였다.
제 3편: 육상으로부터의 도약
- 격렬한 변동 속에 손을 획득하며 나아간 선조의 발자취
거 듭되는 격렬한 지각변동과 대륙의 이동 속에, 생물들은 거대한 대륙들 틈에 놓인 얕은 바다 ‘이아페투스’에 살고 있었다. 인류의 선조 ‘아란다스피스’는 지느러미가 없는 보잘것없는 물고기였다. 약 4억년 전, ‘이아페투스’ 해가 완전히 사라지자, 대륙 주변의 산호초에서 살던 ‘아란다스피스’는 거대한 ‘판피류’의 지배하에 있었다. 그후, 6천만년 후, 지느러미를 갖춘 ‘유스테놉테론’으로 진화한다. 폐로 호흡하던 ‘유스테놉테론’으로부터, 또 다시 진화한 ‘아칸소스테가’는 사지를 진화시켰고, 그 후손인 ‘페데르페스’가 마침내 물을 벗어나 육지로 도약한다. 이렇듯, 오늘 날 우리의 인류에게 이어지는 손은, 바다로부터 민물로, 민물로부터 육상으로 도약한 이 생물들에게서 그 기원을 찾을 수 있다.

1. Order cancellation
- Cancellation cannot be made after 12:00p.m. on the next day of the order date, though the shipment hasn’t begun.
- If the product hasn’t shipped yet, the cancellation can be made before 12:00p.m. on the next day of order date through email.
- When ordering through deposit, order cancellation before payment is done if payment isn’t made within 3 days.
- If cancellation is received/approved after shipping due to private reasons, then you must pay for round-trip delivery rate to your location.
2. Exchange/Refund
- Exchange/refund request can be registered through email within 7 days after delivery.
- The round-trip shipping rate is charged to the customer for exchange/refund due to customer’s private reasons.
- If refund is approved after request, then we will guide you in regard to the refund charge and round-trip delivery fees.
- If the product is different from our description/advertisement on the page, or you are eligible for exchange/refund due to product malfunction or wrong delivery, then the shipping rate for refund/exchange will be paid by our company.

4. Delivery Information
1) Shipping Charge
- The international shipping price differs according to the weight and rate set by the shipping company (box weight included).2) Delivery Date
- Generally, delivery is completed within a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 business days after payment is completed.
- The delivery date may change depending on the country, product inventory, customs, and other factors.
