<뮤직그룹 세움 SE:UM> 뮤직그룹 세움은 2명의 한국음악 연주자와 3명의 서양음악 연주자로 구성되었습니다. 국악과 재즈, 팝 음악 등의 서로 다른 음악세계를 일궈온 저희는, 각자가 성장해 온 음악세계를 존중하며 다섯 악기가 조화롭게 융합할 수 있는 음악을 만들고자 하였습니다. 이러한 생각을 토대로 출발한 세움은 각자의 음악이 가지고 있는 고유의 선율과 리듬에 대한 탐구를 토대로 창작 작업을 시작하였습니다. 무한한 음악세계와 같이 장르 간 경계를 허물고 조화를 추구하고자 하는 연주자들의 의지가 모여 탄생한 세움의 음악은, 하나의 장르로 설명할 수 없는 세움만의 음악세계를 구축하고 있습니다. 뮤직그룹 세움은 이렇게 서로 다른 소리를 모아 지역, 장르, 시대적 한계성을 타파하고 서로 상생할 수 있는 음악적 결합을 계속해서 만들어내고자 합니다.

정규 앨범 <Korean Breath: 만파萬波> 이번 앨범은 “피리를 부니 나라의 모든 걱정과 근심을 해결할 수 있었다”라는 신라 시대의 만파식적萬波息笛 설화에서 영감을 받았습니다. 만파식적의 거대한 파동과 연주자의 음악은 인간의 호흡에서 시작되었다는 공통점을 가지고 있습니다. 지역과 장르를 막론하고 음악에서 연주자의 ‘호흡’은 음악을 이루는 중요한 요소입니다. 저희는 음악을 통해 연주자의 숨과 호흡이 듣는 이에게 온전히 전달되기를 바랐습니다. 위기에 처한 세상을 만파식적의 피리 소리가 구해준 것과 같이, 코로나19로 불안정하고 힘든 시기에 세움의 <Korean Breath: 만파萬波>안에 담긴 음악이 치유와 위로가 되길 바랍니다.

앞으로도 뮤직그룹 세움은 각자의 안에서 흐르는 숨으로 음악을 연주하며 함께 위로받고 숨 쉴 것입니다.

- Cancellation cannot be made after 12:00p.m. on the next day of the order date, though the shipment hasn’t begun.
