2010년 1집 ‘그 바람에 이야기‘ 발매 이후 ‘바람에 오르다’가 8년 만에 내는 정규 2집 앨범.

그간 음원으로 발표하지 못했던 다양한 이야기의 곡들이 앨범에 수록된다.

‘1집 이후 쌓여만 가던 곡들을 더 늦기 전에 ‘기록’하자는 마음으로 앨범 기획을 시작했습니다.

이 앨범은 사랑하고 이별하고 아팠던 모든 시간들과 추억이 존재하며 언제든지 여행할 수 있고 만날 수 있는 장소라는 상징적인 의미를 담아 ‘기억의 숲’이라고 부르게 되었습니다.’ (Bass 노디)

2017년 ‘남은 그리움’을 시작으로 ‘어느새’, ‘우리 사랑일까’, ‘널 위한 노래’, ’똑똑똑’, ‘’이별 요정’ 등 다양한 사운드의 싱글 앨범을 연이어 발매하며 약 2년간 준비해온 이번 앨범은 앞서 발표한 곡들과 타이틀곡 ‘기억의 숲’을 포함, ’사랑이 지나간 자리’, ‘너의 의미’ 등 신곡 4곡과‘기억의 숲’, ‘남은 그리움’, ‘사랑이 지나간 자리’의 인스트루멘탈(Instrumental)버전 등 총 13트랙이 다채롭게 수록된다.
