기타리스트 ‘박선영’의 첫 리더 작 [Overdrive]- 매혹적인 오버드라이브 톤으로 재즈를 담아내다.
기타리스트 ‘박선영’의 소울(Soul) 가득한 연주와 따뜻한 감성으로 완성된 앨범 [Overdrive], 수록곡 모두 그의 자작곡 들로 이루어졌으며 스윙재즈, 블루스, 록 재즈, 라틴, 보사노바, 발라드 등 다양한 스타일의 곡들이 들어 있다.
앨범의 메인 타이틀 곡인 ‘Kitty Kiss’는 뉴올리언스 스타일의 곡으로 그의 절묘한 타이밍의 연주가 돋보이며 ‘There Was Nobody There’, ‘She Went Home To Mama’, ‘Give And Take’에서는 정통 스윙재즈의 맛을 느낄 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 길고양이의 애잔함을 담은 보사노바 리듬의 ‘Cats On The Street’, 라틴 스타일의 흥겨운 ‘Many Sides Of A Coin’ 그리고 재즈발라드곡인 ‘We Are Only Two Left Here’, 록 재즈의 강한 그루브를 느낄 수 있는 ‘Overdrive’와 ‘Rock Climbing’까지 입자감 있는 오버드라이브 톤과 섬세한 연주로 재즈를 담아내었다.
함께한 연주자들은 네덜란드에서 주로 활동하다 이제는 한국에 정착한 트럼펫 연주자 윱반라인(Joep Van Rhijn), 퓨전재즈밴드 ‘VAM’의 리더인 피아니스트 이상원, 탄탄한 연주로 안정감을 주는 베이시스트 임대섭, 재즈뿐 아니라 신해철과 봄여름가을겨울 등의 세션경력으로도 활동영역이 넓은 드러머 유수희, 이들 모두 기타리스트 ‘박선영’과 더불어 네덜란드에서 공부했다는 공통점이 있으며 이번 [Overdrive] 앨범에서 개성 있는 연주와 멋진 호흡을 보여준다.
‘박선영’은 2000년대 초반부터 재즈클럽을 중심으로 여러 뮤지션들과 교류하며 연주 경력을 쌓았고 2007년 여름 네덜란드로 떠나 로테르담음대(Rotterdam Conservatoire, Codarts)에서 재즈기타로 학위를 마치고 2011년 한국으로 돌아와 현재 다양한 연주 활동을 하고 있다. 개성 있는 연주와 톤으로 유학 시절 네덜란드 라디오 방송 ‘Radio6-Soul & Jazz’에 음악이 소개 되었고 네덜란드 재즈페스티벌 ‘North Sea Round Town’에서 그의 재즈밴드(Sun Young Park Band)로 연주하기도 하였다. 또한, 십여 년 동안 서울재즈아카데미에서 강의하고 있으며 실용음악과 출강을 통해 후배 양성에도 힘을 쏟고 있다.
재즈기타라고 하면 흔히 떠오르는 일반적인 기타 톤이 아닌 블루스(Blues)와 소울(Soul)이 진하게 배 있는 그의 오버드라이브 기타 톤과 다이나믹한 연주는 그의 스타일리쉬한 자작곡과 맞물려 기존의 재즈기타 음악과는 또 다른 신선함을 가져다준다. 이번 앨범 [Overdrive]의 발매와 더불어 기타리스트 ‘박선영’의 활발한 연주 활동 및 한국 재즈 음악에 새로운 한 포지션으로서의 시작을 기대해 보고 싶다.

1. Order cancellation
- Cancellation cannot be made after 12:00p.m. on the next day of the order date, though the shipment hasn’t begun.
- If the product hasn’t shipped yet, the cancellation can be made before 12:00p.m. on the next day of order date through email.
- When ordering through deposit, order cancellation before payment is done if payment isn’t made within 3 days.
- If cancellation is received/approved after shipping due to private reasons, then you must pay for round-trip delivery rate to your location.
2. Exchange/Refund
- Exchange/refund request can be registered through email within 7 days after delivery.
- The round-trip shipping rate is charged to the customer for exchange/refund due to customer’s private reasons.
- If refund is approved after request, then we will guide you in regard to the refund charge and round-trip delivery fees.
- If the product is different from our description/advertisement on the page, or you are eligible for exchange/refund due to product malfunction or wrong delivery, then the shipping rate for refund/exchange will be paid by our company.

- When no description is offered for reasons for refund
- When seal/tag of the product has been removed

- When the product or its packaging is damaged
4. Delivery Information
1) Shipping Charge
- The international shipping price differs according to the weight and rate set by the shipping company (box weight included).2) Delivery Date
- Generally, delivery is completed within a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 business days after payment is completed.
- The delivery date may change depending on the country, product inventory, customs, and other factors.
- You can check the delivery information after the shipping has started through your email or My Page > Order Details Page.3) Precautions (The delivery date may be inevitably delayed due to the circumstances below. We ask for your kind understanding.)
- Ordering is done during or before company’s holidays.
- Delivery coincides with company holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, or summer holidays.
- High delivery traffic (e.g. due to bad weather)
- Orders made during Saturdays, Sundays, or festival days are sent on the next business day.
