그린플러그드 서울 페스티벌은 지난 2011년부터 페스티벌 참여 아티스트와 함께 ‘공식 옴니버스 앨범 SUM [숨∞]을 발매하고 있습니다. ‘숨’의 이름은 생명에 숨결을 불어넣듯이 음악으로 사람들의 마음에 소중한 가치를 전달한다는 의미를 갖고 있습니다. 올해는 "Support U with my Music"이라는 의미를 더하여 음악으로써 나와 당신, 그리고 환경과 자연을 지켜내고 응원해 나갈 것이라는 내용을 담았습니다.

4월 5일, 식목일에 맞추어 ‘SUM [숨∞] 여덟 번째’ 앨범이 공식 발매되었습니다. 비록 한 장의 앨범이지만 작은 새싹이 나무가 되듯, 점점 무뎌지는 환경에 대한 의미를 되새기고, 그 의미가 마음속에 널리 퍼지는 계기가 되길 바랍니다.

음악에 당신을 응원하는 마음을 담아, 함께 숨을 쉬다.

총 10팀이 참여한 ‘숨[SUM∞] 여덟 번째’ 앨범은 아티스트마다 색채는 다르지만 모두를 응원하기 위한 마음을 담아 앨범을 만들어냈습니다. 올해 숨 앨범의 타이틀을 장식해준 <위아더나잇>은 ‘흐려도 좋아’라는 곡을 통해 자연 속에서 혼자가 아닌 타인과 함께함으로써 온전한 평화를 얻으며 행복을 만끽하는 순간을 가사에 녹여냈습니다. 숨 앨범에서 빠질 수 없는 <입술을 깨물다>는 ‘Claire'라는 곡을 통해 화창한 날씨를 바라보며 마음의 상처를 치유받고, 떨쳐내는 후련함을 경쾌하게 풀어내 주었습니다. 신스팝 밴드 글렌체크의 보컬 <김준원>은 ‘Art Of War'를 통해 봄이 오면 굳은 땅을 깨고 꽃이 피어나는 모습과 같이, 우리가 마음속 불안감을 깨고 오롯이 자신의 감정을 피워내길 응원하는 메시지를 담았습니다. 독보적인 목소리의 싱어송라이터 <최고은>은 ’GreenBox'에서 지구를 그린박스(GreenBox)에 비유하여 인간의 이기심으로 망가져 가는 박스 속의 모습을 서정적으로 표현했습니다. 또한 이외에도 <아시안체어샷>의 ‘그땐 우리’, 의 ‘숨 쉬고 싶어’, <문댄서즈>의 ‘Protostar’, <서사무엘>의 'greengreengreen', <파라솔>의 ‘비가 떨어지면’, <도마>의 ‘화양연화’가 수록되어 있습니다.
