6, 25 한국전쟁 -1편 (한국전쟁 발발과 낙동강 방어선)
1) 한국전쟁 발발 :
남한에는 소수의 미군만 남아 있는 가운데 북한의 남침이 시작되고 맥아더가 UN군 총 사령관으로 지명된다. 숙련된 북한군에 남한군은 밀리고 남침 4일째 서울이 점령된다.
2) 스미스 부대 :
남한을 돕기 위해 스미스부대가 일본에서 넘어온다. 북한의 기갑부대 앞에 스미스부대와 미 24사단은 계속해서 밀리고 북한은 대전과 진주까지 점령한다.
3) 부산 경계 :
지원군이 부산항에 도착한다. 연합군을 지휘하는 워커장군은 부산 경계에 방어막을 구축 하고 반격을 꾀한다. 연합군이 일주일간 버티는 사이 연합군 지원군이 또 도착한다.
4) 인천상륙작전 :
상륙작전은 월미도를 사수하는 것을 시작으로 해병 1, 5사단 보병7사단이 공격을 하여 도시를 탈환하고 서울로의 공격을 시작한다.
5) 공격 :
북쪽 병력은 서울로 향하고 남쪽의 병력은 인천의 병력과 합류를 위해 전진한다. 계속된 피해를 입으면서도 전진하여 서울을 되찾고 서울 쪽에 병력이 집결한다.
6) 압록강으로 :
미8군은 북한을 공격하되 압록강까지는 남한군을 보내라 명령 받는다. 10월 18일 한국 군은 38선을 넘어 압록강으로 북진한다. 중국의 공격에도 연합군은 진군하고 중공군의 참전한다.
6, 25 한국전쟁 -2편(중국군의 개입과 장진호 전투)
1) 중국의 전쟁 참여 :
서쪽 청천강과 동쪽 장진호에서 중공군은 인해전술로 미군을 밀어내고 미군은 퇴각하기 시작한다.
2) 장진호에서의 퇴각 :
하갈우리와 유담리에서 10 해병대는 중공군에 포위되고 탈출을 위한 돌파가 시도된다. 공 중 지원을 받으며 병력은 극심한 추위 속에서 흥남으로 후퇴한다.
3) 철군과 퇴각 :
흥남에서 해군은 피난민과 10 해병대를 피신시키고 흥남을 파괴한다. 중공군의 공세에 유엔군은 서울과 인천을 버리고 남쪽으로 후퇴하며 방어선 구축을 시도한다.
4) 킬러작전 :
북쪽 영토를 잃은 연합군은 약해진 중공군의 압박에 방어선을 구축하고 반격 준비를 한 다. 유엔군은 북상하여 서울과 38선으로 진격한다.
5) 서울로 귀환 :
연합군의 화력이 빛을 발하고 계속해서 진군하여 결국 서울을 탈환한다. 연합군의 전선 은 38선을 향해 북상하여 캔사스선을 구축한다. 트루먼대통령은 맥아더와 갈등을 겪는 다.
6) 맥아더의 해임 :
트루먼 대통령과의 외교적 시선 차이로 맥아더가 해임되고 리지웨이가 그 자리를 대신한 다. 트루먼은 해임과 관련된 견해를 밝히고 맥아더는 귀환해 국회 연설과 청문회를 한 다.
7) 서울의 마지막 전쟁 :
중공군은 봄 공격을 단행하고 연합군은 이를 잘 막아낸다. 캔사스선을 두고 더 이상 밀 지도 밀리지도 않는 싸움이 계속 되고 한국 전쟁이 1년을 맞이한다.
6, 25 한국전쟁 -3편(동부전선의 고지에도 꽃은 피는가!)
1) 첫 번째 정전 협정 :
두 진영 사이 동의하에 정전협정이 이루어진다. 개성에서 첫 번째 협정이 별 결실 없이 끝나고 협정조건의 재조정이 일어난다.
2) 공중지원 :
한국전쟁에서 공중병력은 매우 유용하였고 해군과 해병의 공중병력은 세계대전의 경험으 로 숙련되었다.
3) 미그통로 :
공산진영의 미그기를 대항해 미군은 압도적인 승리를 거둔다.
4) 산지에서의 전투 :
공산진영과의 갈등에 단장의 능선을 포함한 동북부 전선에서 전투가 벌어지고
미2사단은 3개 고지를 모두 점령한다.
5) 아이젠하워의 방한 :
휴전의 복안을 가진 아이젠하워 대통령당선자는 방한하여 장병들을 격려한다. 전쟁종결 의 희망이 보인다.
6) 휴전 :
스탈린의 죽음으로 공산진영이 흔들리고 이승만대통령도 연합군에 협력한다. 판문점에서 휴전협정이 이뤄지고 그에 따른 조치가 시행된다.
