‘xikers(싸이커스)’는 지난 미니 7집 [ROUTE ZERO : The ORA]로 발매 4일 만에 전작의 기록을 넘어서는 앨범 초동 판매량을 달성하며 자체 커리어 하이를 이뤄냈다. 또한 컴백과 동시에 다양한 글로벌 음악 차트에서 존재감을 빛냈으며, 국내외를 아우른 팬미팅을 통해 팬들과의 접점을 지속적으로 넓혀왔다. ‘xikers(싸이커스)’는 자신들을 향한 팬들의 목소리에 응답하며 새로운 행보에 나선다.

지난 5월, 미니 7집 [ROUTE ZERO : The ORA]를 통해 새로운 세계관 시리즈의 문을 연 ‘xikers(싸이커스)’. 이들은 통제된 세계가 만들어낸 하나의 오류로서 자신들만의 방향을 선택하기 시작한다. 

어느 날, 모든 좌표가 지워진 ‘ROUTE ZERO’ 위에 선 ‘xikers(싸이커스)’에게 익숙한 목소리가 들려온다. 매일 반복되는 공간에서 시작된 그 음성은 시간이 지날수록 더욱 선명해지고, 각자의 자리에 홀로 남겨져 있던 열 명의 아이들을 서서히 한곳으로 불러모은다.

모습도, 살아온 곳도 모두 달랐지만 단 하나. 누구에게나 주어진 ‘좌표’가 없다는 사실만큼은 같았다. 홀로 남겨진 채 스스로를 실패작이라 여겨왔던 이들에게 서로의 존재는 그 무기력한 믿음에 작은 균열을 만들어낸다.

이번 미니 8집 [ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING]은 서로의 존재를 발견한 열 명의 ‘xikers(싸이커스)’가 자신들만의 길을 찾아 나아가는 이야기와 정해진 좌표를 벗어나, 아직 누구도 가보지 않은 낯선 여정을 향해 나아가는 이들의 모습을 그린다.

정답 없이 열려 있는 수많은 가능성과 미지의 여정을 마주한 ‘xikers(싸이커스)’. 오직 서로에 대한 믿음만을 나침반 삼아 앞으로 나아간다. 그리고 그 거침없는 움직임과 불확실성 속에서도 기꺼이 앞으로 향하는 에너지를 이번 앨범만의 음악으로 풀어낸다.

잠에서 깨면 모든 것이 흐릿해질지라도, 쉽사리 잊을 수 없는 강렬한 기억 속에서 반드시 서로를 찾아내고야 말 것이다.

With their 7th EP [ROUTE ZERO : The ORA], xikers achieved a new career high, surpassing the first-week sales record of their previous release in just four days. The group also made their presence felt across various global music charts upon their comeback and continued to connect with fans through fan meetings both in Korea and around the world. Now, xikers are answering the voices calling out to them as they set out on a new journey.

Last May, xikers opened the door to a new chapter of their universe with their 7th EP [ROUTE ZERO : The ORA]. As an anomaly born from a controlled world, they began choosing a direction of their own.

One day, as xikers stand on ‘ROUTE ZERO,’ where every coordinate has been erased, they hear a familiar voice. First emerging from within the same spaces they return to day after day, the voice grows clearer with time, slowly drawing together the ten boys who had each been left alone in their own place.

They may look different and come from different places, but they share one thing in common: none of them have a ‘coordinate’ assigned to them. Having been left alone for so long, they had come to see themselves as failures. But discovering one another begins to create small cracks in that deeply rooted sense of helplessness.

Their 8th EP [ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING], follows the ten members of xikers as they discover one another and begin forging a path of their own. Leaving behind set coordinates, they step into an unfamiliar journey toward a place no one has ever ventured before.

Faced with endless possibilities and an unknown journey with no predetermined answers, xikers move forward with nothing but their trust in one another as their compass. Through the album’s music, they capture the fearless momentum of that journey—the energy of choosing to keep moving forward even in the face of uncertainty.

Even if everything fades into a blur when they wake, within the vivid memories too powerful to forget, they will always find their way back to one another.
