‘왕과 사는 남자’ OST LP 발매

‘왕과 사는 남자’(감독: 장항준 / 출연: 유해진, 박지훈, 유지태, 전미도, 김민 그리고 박지환, 이준혁, 안재홍)의 오리지널 사운드트랙(OST)이 아날로그 LP로 발매된다.

1457년 청령포, 마을의 부흥을 위해 유배지를 자처한 촌장과 왕위에서 쫓겨나 유배된 어린 선왕의 이야기를 담은 영화 <왕과 사는 남자>는 배우들의 밀도 높은 연기와 절제된 선율이 어우러져 깊은 감동과 긴 여운을 전하며 주목받고 있다.

이번 사운드트랙에는 한국 영화 음악의 독보적인 사운드 미학을 구축해온 달파란이 참여했다. 서양 현악기와 국악의 현악기와 그리고 타악기가 조화를 이루며 전통성과 현대성이 공존하는 독창적인 사운드를 완성했으며, 단종과 광천골 마을 사람들이 함께한 시간의 정서와 여운을 아름답게 섬세하게 담아내 영화의 감동을 한층 확장시킨다.

이번 LP는 아날로그 특유의 따뜻한 질감으로 작품의 감성과 여운을 더욱 생생하게 전달한다. 또한 이홍위 역의 배우 박지훈의 내레이션과 매화 역의 배우 전미도의 보컬이 더해진 수록곡 ‘벗’(작사: 윤종신, 작곡: 달파란)이 포함되어, 작품의 아련하고 애틋한 감정선을 더욱 깊이 있게 완성한다.

총 24곡이 수록된 1LP와 게이트폴드 재킷으로 구성된 이번 LP는 한국학중앙연구원 장서각이 소장한 단종 유배지 청령포의 실경을 담은 ‘월중도’ 화폭을 활용한 픽처 디스크로 제작되어 높은 소장 가치를 지닌다. 이와 더불어 미공개 스틸이 포함된 북클릿, 포스터, 사인 포토카드 등 다양한 인서트를 더해 완성도를 높였으며, LP 발매를 기념해 장항준 감독과 달파란 음악감독의 글이 북클릿에 수록되어 작품과 음악에 대한 깊이 있는 이야기를 전한다.
